Stock Market Competition
Student Competition: 
Students from all over the world are welcome to participate in the student component of the IVE Stock Market Competition. Upon sign-up students will receive a trading budget to invest in the virtual and real stock market. Students who made the most profit will be announced at our IVE Collaborative Conference in April 2010 and as the winners they will receive prizes and awards.
Rules and Sign-up:
- In order to be eligible for the personal stock market trading competition students must register online. Last day for registration will be January 31, 2010!
- On February 1, 2010 all participants will receive a login and password for their trading account, as well as a budget of $10,000.
- Participants must invest at least $5,000 in virtual stock (firms listed on our stock market/ticker).
- No more than $5,000 can be invested in real companies (see listing company listings in your account).
- Stock must be bought or sold at least twice per week.
- There will be no interest given on cash not invested.
- No margin account can be opened.
- All trades, buys and sells, are broker fee free.
- No dividends will be collected nor can be invested.
- Trading stops on March 29, 2010 at Midnight E.D.S.T.
- The winners, students who made the most profit, will be announced at our IVE Global Collaborative Conference in April 2010 and will receive prizes and awards.
